he Ireland where Medb hErenn was born and raised, and over which she would later rule as queen, is based on the Lebor Gabála Érenn, or the Book of Invasions. Though originally founded by a race of people descended from the Hyborians of Robert E. Howard, it was subsequently invaded and settled by four other races. All five of these races, to various degrees, influenced the development of Irish society, culture, genetics, and language. The following essays describe various aspects of the Ireland Medb knows.
